Dr. Dowling achieved his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. From there, he completed two residency programs at North Shore University Hospital and the State University of New York at Stony Brook before completing rigorous orthopedic and neurosurgical fellowships.

 

Once his education was complete, Dr. Dowling founded the Long Island Spine Specialists and established himself. For the past three decades, he has helped our patients overcome a variety of ailments and conditions – including spinal cord tumors, deformities, scoliosis, fractures, chronic pain, and more.
