Dr. Arjang Abbasi
Dr. Abbasi has completed research in the fields of spine, sports, and electrodiagnostic medicine. He has authored publications, textbooks, including publishing in the journals Spine, Pain, Medicine, and PM&R.
Dr. Arjang Abbasi
Dr. Abbasi is a board certified, fellowship trained specialist with expertise in non-operative treatment of neck and back disorders. He also has extensive training in Interventional Pain Management, ultrasound, and fluoroscopically guided injections, Regenerative Medicine and Electrodiagnostic medicine (EMGs). He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
He completed his residency at the acclaimed Rutgers University/Kessler Institute for rehabilitation in New Jersey. In his senior year, he was selected as the Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship training in Orthopedic Spine and Sports Medicine and Interventional Pain Management at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Abbasi has done extensive research in the fields of Spine, Sports medicine and Electrodiagnostic medicine. He has authored numerous publications and textbooks, including publishing in the journals Spine, Spine Journal, Pain Medicine, PM&R. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several medical journals. He is committed to the latest technologies in the treatment of spine and joints, and continues to explore the newest advances in medical treatment of spine, joint and tendon injuries with a special interest in Regenerative Medicine, including PRP and stem cell injections.
Dr. Abbasi believes in an integrated approach in diagnosis and treatment of injuries to determine the right care and treatment options for his patients. He believes the importance of a team approach in order to help patients best manage their symptoms. This includes working with various professionals including therapists and surgeons and educating patients to actively participate in their care and do routine home exercise programs to maintain a healthy and pain free lifestyle.
